I have finished my step-mother's afghan, and I will be mailing it out tomorrow, or rather later today. I am surprised that it took me since Sunday, since it was actually very easy. I do not crochet much and when I do, the pattern has to be written in a way that I can understand, which is not much. I used the pattern from the lion brand website titled the 5 1/2 hour afghan. The pattern actually calls for 3 balls of Jiffy yarn to be used concurrently, but I used two strands of homespun instead. I used three differnt colors, and a Q hook as called for.
